There will be four assessment tasks to complete during this Area of Study unit. Two of these will be formal assessment tasks, counting towrds your overall marks for this course. Here you will find the link to all of the task sheets and marking criteria. These tasks will be explained in further detail in class.
Assessment Task One:
This is a perspective writing task. It will be started in class and is then to be completed in your own time. Submission is via email to your teacher.
Due - Friday, Week 3
Assessment Task Two:
For this task you will create an annotated portfolio of related material. The mode of presentation is up to you. You will be given two library research lesson during class time to help you start this task.
Due - Monday, Week 5
Assessment Task Three:
This is a speaking task that is worth 10% of your overall marks for this course. You must hand in a transcript of your speech on the due date. Volunteers will deliver their speeches first and then students will be selected at random during English lessons throughout Week 6.

Assessment Task Four:
This task has three sections (Part A, B and C). It is worth 15% of your overall marks for this course.
